WENO History
  • On air May 23, 1988, by Radio Corp. of Nashville.  Format was Christian Rock. In 1989 the format was changed to Inspirational Christian.
  • June 1990 station was bought by TNU. In 1991 the format was changed to Southern Gospel.
  • In 1995 WENO's format was changed to Christian Talk.
  • In 1998 the transmitter site was moved from 1711 River Hills Drive (co-located with WAMB 1160 AM) to a new tower site on the campus of Trevecca Nazarene University.
